Joyce Doran dies at 78
Joyce Doran, who labored being an assistant to producers in film and tv including Howard Hawks, died of natural causes on Friday, November. 11, in Burbank, Calif. She was 78.Doran was Hawks' assistant around the classic 1959 Western "Rio Bravo." Around the group of that film she met her husband to be, Richard Doran, an emphasis puller on numerous important films at Warner Bros.Later, she was Irwin Allen's assistant for eight years until his dying in 1991.She was an assistant to producers or supervisory producers on numerous Television shows including "Bewitched," "The Paul Lynde Show," "MASH," "The Partridge Family," "Police Lady," "Police Story" and "Fantasy Island" as well as on the 1985 CBS adaptation of "Alice's adventures in wonderland" from Irwin Allen Prods.Before she upon the market in 1998, Doran labored for some time within the Warner Bros.' accounting department.Doran's husband died in 1983.She's made it by six children, including boy R.
